Crawley Festival 2008 – The Art of Recycling
Each year Crawley Festival culminates with ‘Mainstage’. Crawley Memorial Gardens hosts a range of activities, champions local musicians and aims to engage the wider community in creative workshops.
Using a variety of recycled materials, Ginger Moo encouraged the community to create colourful patterned 3D paper flowers/plastic people and a woven scene from strips of plastic bags.
The following years activities included building a box tower, from individually customised cardboard boxes, life drawing, and ‘Crawley Moo Town’, a series of small 3D cardboard hand decorated buildings to form a mini town.
